Jerry Sihle founded Sihle Insurance Group in 1974 with the commitment to treat customers, employees, and companies with respect. From his dedication to people, he grew his insurance agency into one of the leading agencies in Florida. Jerry grew up in Detroit, MI. He was the first in his family to attend college, graduating from Michigan State University in 1956 with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
In the same year, he began working at Standard Accident in Detroit. His work was put on hold two years later, when he was drafted by the U.S. Army, but he returned to Standard Accident, working in their Surety Department from 1961 to 1963.

I have been with Sihle Insurance group for several years now and I have not been impressed with the lack of professionalism. When my last auto policy was written I was told monthly payments would be 180.00. Come to find out the policy was written for 234.00 monthly because they documented that I owned my home when I clearly communicated I was a home renter.
I excused them for this, however I was also informed that Infinity was the only company that would write my policy and come to find out I received a quote from Geico on my own that wrote a policy for me for 40.00 less per month with premium coverage. I also tried to get through to the agent several times who wrote the policy to let them know they spelled my name wrong and I never received a return phone call. I would not recommend their services AT ALL!

My experience with this company is not good at all. other people might be lucky. i applied for business insurance and it took maybe almost 2 months to get a quote and it was 1200 a month. i found an insurance company that quoted me less then 500 per year. my home owners insurance was with them for 9 years and it was already at 3200 per year. they told me that was the best i can get. well i found home owners insurance for 1200 a year. good bye good riddance thanks for nothing

My experience with Sihle has been a roller coaster. Initially everything went well and my policy was great. Honestly, after everything is setup, you really don't have to make changes or talk with them, especially after acquiring hazard insurance. But after 3 years of being a client, I've realized too many negatives. Follow-up doesn't happen, my insurance price was raised astronomically and no new quotes have been supplied, and it just genuinely feels like no one cares.
One time, I got a quote from someone else's policy, big oops in information security. I won't mention names, but I can say that as of now, I couldn't recommend them to anyone. Edit: Tried contacting them in hopes to get some update or resolution. Nothing. No callbacks. No emails. Not even a response on here. This experience is not one I would wish on anyone.

I went with this insurance broker as a recommendation from my realtor. It went OK at first, although I kept having problems with my mortgage company saying they never got a bill from the insurance company and then my insurance would get canceled. Recently, my ensurer pulled out of home insurance and gave me a month or so to find new insurance. I called at least 3 times and was always told someone was working on my case and would get back to me, but I never heard anything. Its a good thing I looked on my own because I would be without insurance if I trusted what they said. They also put me in a ridiculously high policy.

Writing this review during the Covid-19 pandemic, a true test of an insurance company. I've called and e-mailed my agent Stephanie Holland for 2 weeks. I have coverage for an issue I'm experiencing, but cannot get any type of reply back nor phone call. I've had insurance with them for 10 years and have been low maintenance. To receive ZERO service and guidance from my agent during a time in need is unacceptable.
Previous to this I would have given a better rating. This was my first real opportunity to try and use their "customer service". They failed. Updated. Now down to one star. Would be zero if possible. I've called their main number and spoken to the receptionist. She took my info and promised someone would call back. They did not. Left a voicemail for supervisor Amy.
No call back from her as well. Their voicemail states "Thanks for calling Sihle, where service is the difference." I fully agree. Their complete lack of service is a huge difference and I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for your insurance needs.

If I could give this company a zero- star rating, I would. It came highly recommended last year when we purchased a home, but our experience at renewal time has been a total disaster. It's been two and a half weeks since I requested, via email and phone, quotes for homeowners insurance. Our account manager Carmen Garcia has been completely unresponsive to my requests.
First email from her stated that I would receive quotes by Friday 5/24. It is now Friday 5/31. Completely unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your insurance needs. I contacted another insurance agency and had quotes in a matter of hours.
