I am filling a lawsuit again this company. My trip cancelled and I wanted to cancel my travel insurance and they are refusing the give me refund. They are the worst, I NEED my refund back. I am experiencing every issue people mentioned here. I wished I had checked their review before I purchased. A trusted travel agency recommended them, so I did not take the time to do much research. So unprofessional.

My experience with this company has been the literal worst. I cancelled my trip in March and have had no resolution and zero communications after I've filed three - four requests for a call back. The phone rings and rings. Is your company still in business?

I submitted all the documents at the beginning of the year (right after our trip ended.). First they told me it would be up 30 days because of covid. In February they said 60 days, (no reason.) In March they said they couldn't give an exact date ( and it takes literally hours to get them on the phone). Here I am mid-April and still no resolution.

I bought this policy on the recommendation of an American Express travel professional. It takes an hour or more on hold before a customer service answers. Website uploads don't work either. I'm not optimistic on ever getting reimbursed for anything at this point. I wish I had checked the Google reviews before I purchased the policy.

Worst company I have ever worked with! After months of back and forth paper work documents where I filed $2700 claim following all of their rules they sent me an email saying I would be getting a $700 check with no explanation and it takes hours to get ahold of anyone! Please use any other insurance company!

I booked travel insurance with this company for a trip. My trip got canceled due to covid. They said my trip wasn't eligible for any reimbursement. I said okay. Since my trip was cancelled I asked for a refund. They said someone would get back to me and NEVER DID. I never received a refund for a trip that never happened and for insurance that was never used.

It's like if you get homeowner's insurance but don't buy the house. Would Allstate return your money? My Allstate agent said yes. Here, they have been giving me the run around for 1 year. I am again on hold for over 30 min. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. GOOD LUCK GETTING A REFUND IF YOU NEED IT.

On 11/12/2020, I was requested by the agency to submit information. I had a trip with the (Cancel For Any Reason) and I had a seizure so cancelled. I submitted all the information they needed by 11/24/2020. I called several times only to be told that "An agent hasn't been assigned to my case yet." At the time, I was like "Okay, I understand, BUT IT IS 2/28/2021 NOW!

It's been 3 months at least and essentially, no agent has still been assigned to my case! I will be contacting my state banking and insurance commission to start getting this going because this is just disrespectful. Like others have said, they are easy to take money but take forever to give it out. I made sure everything was submitted and even organized it neatly for them. Unprofessional to still not "assign an agent" to my case even though it has been more than 3 months.

Purchased "cancel any time" policy for summer 2020 trip that was part business/part leisure. The business part was canceled due to Covid and we chose not to travel for the leisure part for the same reasons. Had several thousand dollars of pre-paid airfare and hotel already booked on our own (no travel agent). Took awhile on our end to contact all travel providers and get the required documentation. Submitted all claim info the end of November and within 4 weeks received reimbursement (chose the direct deposit option) for 75% of claim as noted in the policy we purchased.

I did ask for a status update one week after initial submission and received a response that is was under review. Seem like a reasonable wait time all things considered. I realize my experience is one data point but just wanted to share my experience.

Travel Insured International is one of the worst companies to deal with. I purchased a no excuse return policy and cancelled it the next day after I purchased. The rep advised me that I could keep the policy for 2 yrs or get a refund. She convinced me stating that in the event I wanted my refund they would be glad to process it. Now they have declined it stating I had a no look return policy for 14 days which is totally absurt.

They are horrible to deal with and please take my advice as I am a very frequent international traveller and keep buying insurance but do your yourself a favor by not buying from this company. I am planning to take further action. It is not the amount but it is about customer satisfaction and loyalty which in this case is ZERO.

Trying to get in touch with these people is nearly impossible. They do not get back to you and I feel like this is a scam. I just filed a complaint with the State of Connecticut Attorney General and I encourage everyone to do the same so we can get our travel claims that we paid for. The attorney general has replied and has asked for the details of the plan we purchased.

I encourage EVERYONE to email the attorney general regarding this company. It is now 9/30 and this company has not responded to our claim filed in April. I have to pay for a trip that needed to be canceled out of my own pocket even after buying insurance because they are not honoring their policy. Its been 2 weeks. 8/19/2020 update. I still haven't received an email or a phone call, or any type of update on my claim. Now I am filing a complaint with the BBB and contacting a news angency. Congrats on being terrible.
