The role of each entity is to ensure workers' compensation claims are administered according to the laws and rules of the BWC/IC. Each entity has its own responsibilities. BMSO is the third party administrator (TPA) responsible for managing and administration of injury claims and technical services support relating to rates and potential alternative programs offered by BWC. Our focus is on containing and managing the employer's overall claims costs. BMSO co-ordinates the efforts of the MCO, BWC and IC.
