I have no idea what the bad reviews are talking about. I just walked in with my husband to register two cars from out of state and the two women there could not have been any faster any more helpful anymore amazing. We were in and out and maybe 7 minutes? Thank you so much for your help in making this easy on us!

I had an excellent experience with Kim and her team of brilliant women. I was navigating a complex title transfer that took a few steps due to out of state seller etc. Each time I returned I was greeted with kindness, patience, and professionalism. The woman who helped me in the front (sadly Im blanking on her name) even remembered my circumstance when I returned after several weeks had passed. Very diligent and sweet. Witnessed the owner treating an older gentleman with utter kindness, even coming around to help him outside safely. Would recommend!

I had no idea what to expect getting a car title change, but wow! Nicole was assisting me and my mom and she was funny, professional, and speedy. Can't recommend her and the company enough! Plus their prices are the best in town

Everyone was friendly and polite. I needed to get my car title and registration changed over to PA after moving from Delaware. I called to ask a few questions first and the person I spoke with was friendly, welcomed me to PA, and ensured I had everything I needed to complete the task before I drove there. When I arrived, the employee who helped me, I think her name was Emily, was also friendly and helpful. The whole experience was easy and stress free.

When I walked in I was promptly and politely greeted. However two Black men walked in after me and did not receive the same treatment. I recommend the management investigate further and provide implicit bias training to make sure all customers are treated equitably Nicole provided quick and great service and wore a mask. Unfortunately the other women in the office was not wearing a mask. Would feel safer and more comfortable if ALL staff was wearing a mask.

Thought they were comparing rates they never did. Gave me AIC which has 0 level of consumer efficiency. The app only should your paper and you can make a payment that's it. I called to ask about canceling my policy and they told me I had to come in and ask in person. When o got there I waited 20 minutes and no one said a word to me. They were with customers but when others walked in they were greeted and asked to wait a moment.

The young ladies at the front counter are very unprofessional, and loud. The store was not so busy on the day of my visit. Two people being serviced and two people waiting for service. The ladies at the counter were having personal conversations instead of taking care of the customers. I had some very emotional sensitive paperwork to have notarized and the young lady thought she should offer her legal advice to me and my family only further complicating a emotional situation.

She is a front office clerk at best and should refer people to a lawyer for legal advice(which we have a family lawyer). One girl kept asking if she was doing thing right how to make a copy, should this or that be done. I'm hoping she is very new and being trained. I will NOT be returning. The 2 star is because at the end of the process I did get what we came for.

I came here to get my out of state vehicle registered in PA. Not only were the employees friendly but also extremely helpful. I was nervous about the process and not sure what I needed but they walked me through every step. I will be returning for sure. Professionalism with a smile!

I had put off transferring my car to PA from NJ because I had heard how dreadful the process was. Kim and the girls at Imperial walked me through the entire process. Each time I was there, I only waited a few minutes to be seen and was helped each time with patience and courtesy. They helped me navigate the complicated process of transferring my tags, title and registration and even helped with recommending places to have my vehicle inspected. They definitely made the process less stressful. There is no parking lot because it is on City Line Avenue but there is plenty of parking on the side streets.

I only had to wait a few minutes to be seen. The staff was extremely professional, efficient, and friendly. Kim went over the cost breakdown for each item and made sure I understood what I was being charged for. The fees for each service are also listed on the wall, which is helpful.

After recently moving to PA, I was dreading having to move my car registration to PA. I had spent too much time panicking on the DMV website, only to find out that 3rd party agencies like this one handle everything. After getting my new PA license and PA car insurance, I went to the agency to ask how this process works and I was so relieved to learn they handle everything.

They request your out-of-state title (if you don't already have it), verify your VIN, give you plates, send your registration application, everything. They also explain everything very easily over the phone, so definitely call ahead if you have questions!

I went here yesterday to do a title transfer with previous car owner (my bf). I thought I had did enough research to know what needed to be done, but I was still confused. One of the clerks, Ashley, was SO helpful! She was very knowledgeable on exactly what needed to be done. She informed me that I also needed new tags, new registration, a change of address for my driver's license.pretty much everything I wasn't thinking of.

She walked us through each step & thoroughly explained everything before she did it. If we still seemed confused or had questions, she was so patient in explaining everything again. Once she laid out the plan, she got to work dealing with all the paperwork & she moves fast! All we had to do was wait until she said "sign here" on whatever form was needed.

We walked out very happy & well informed. She was very friendly as well which is always an added bonus when doing anything like this. I will always come here & I would definitely recommend it to anyone! They know their stuff! Thank you Ashley & thank you Imperial Agency for making the process fast & simple

This agency treated me and my father horribly and I wish I could give it 0 stars. My father went a day in advance to make sure we had all necessary documents for the transaction we hoped to complete the next day. The staff ensured my father he had everything he needed, and then when we went the next day, they lied and said they had not done that. The manager spoke to my father with extreme condescension and disregarded everything he said.

She denied any failure in communication or customer service and then even told us she "might as well be a lawyer" because she has a contract with PennDot. Ha! Pretty big ego, especially for someone who is unable to deliver on her word to a customer and couldn't get the job done. Because of this manager with the horrible attitude, we had to delay our trip, although we were able to get what we needed to get done at another agency the next day and they mentioned that Imperial had a pretty bad rep.

I would never use this company again - it's not worth being treated like your business doesn't matter and like management doesn't show basic signs of respect. Stay away.

Be careful I switched to a no name from progressive when I pay upfront and when I didn't right away I was asked to sign specific forms and oops an accident, never been in one and this noname insurance sent me forms to allow them to see employment payments and give permission with my social and now other drivers insurance company wants a recorded statement from me to help.

How nice. Something is going down here. I was also charged $400 for them to tow the truck and keep it for 17 hours that I didn't want towed and was not allowed to drive it to a parking spot on the street while I was being sent to emergency room with neck and back pain which lasted a couple of months and felt like I was hit going hi-speed while to get my truck out I had to change a tire and bring someone to do that and had to wait a long time before anyone let me go to my truck to change the tire

One of the best, and even most personable tag agencies I've been to. Helpful, friendly, flexible, no waiting, and no struggle. Hard to park anywhere nearby since they're right on City Ave but worth it, quick and easy from Manayunk or otherwise, and help quickly.

Having recently purchased a car in a private transaction, I needed to transfer title and get tags, something I had never done before as all my prior purchases were through a dealer. I also was registering the car as an antique, which had its own set of unique issues, including the need for insurance on the spot (rather than being able to rely on extended new car coverage under an existing policy), something I was not prepared for.

The people here handled it all quickly and professionally, and were able to provide me with options and work-arounds for some of the unexpected issues that arose. I couldn't have been happier with my experience.

Use this service! They are fast and helpful and very professional. Getting my license plate changed here was a breeze. They're also very upfront and transparent with costs and they accept credit cards. Very friendly staff, amazing!

There is no doubt the ladies at Imperial are exceptional at what they do. While the wait can be long they work efficiently and get everyone in and out as quickly as possible. Myself, family and friends have been using them for as long as I can remember and the service had never changed. They are even great at providing guidance if there is something they can't help you with that same day.

They do work on the honor system on who is next so be prepared to communicate with the other waiters when you arrive. As long as they are there we will keep coming back! Many thanks Ladies!

The owner helped me with my tags and finding car insurance. I liked that he stayed over a hour after closing to help me get these things done. He also was very nice several ppl came after closing to make payments and he tried to help them out. He has gained a customer out of me!

I am sad to write this review. I have been working with Imperial for years with no issues. Recently, staff has changed and so has the business. Long hold times and no return calls.

Emily was so helpful! We were dreading a bureaucratic nightmare to change our title from NJ to PA and she made it very easy.

The ladies who work here are SUPERB at what they do! I came here to register a vehicle and obtain tags. The process was so swift that before I knew it, I was walking out the door with everything I needed to legally drive my car that same day. Vehicle registration costs in Pennsylvania are high (to me) but I was so impressed with the personable service I received here that if I was a baller, I would've left a tip. Hats off to the Imperial Agency!

My license got stolen over the weekend and I needed a temporary replacement as soon as possible. I was shaken up and bitter about my situation, but was then assisted by Kim who was extremely helpful. She was courteous, kind, and knowledgable. The establishment was clean and in a location where side-street parking was fairly available. The ease of getting the temp license made me feel better about the situation.

Came to get my new car registered and had a pleasurable experience. Juliana was extremely helpful, down to earth, and made my time their well worth it. Smooth process and enjoyed general conversation with the ladies.

This agency was incredibly helpful with letting me know everything I need to do to have my car registered. They gave me the different options I have when registering the car since the service in the PennDot was so poor.

Used this place to transfer tags and get new auto insurance. The lady who helped me was extremely helpful and nice and the whole process was quick and simple. She explained everything to me. The best auto tag place I have ever been to hands down.

Quick, simple and a surprisingly friendly staff for an auto tag place. My lone visit here was to get my Motorcycle title and registration transferred from the previous owner, which went by smoothly. They also have a multitude of services available and their respective prices listed on a big board, so you don't have any ghost charges.
