Unprofessional service. I called this agency requesting a quote for commercial auto policy and provided all the information they require in order to get the quote. the next day the agent got back to me making dumb comments about how they don't like me changing insurance carriers over a $0.05 if they hack the price on me in a few months. the agent also was very surprised that I was only looking for a quote for commercial Auto and not willing to give them a more business for all the policies they might want!? Really? You have to earn that right by your heart professional work to get more business!

While purchasing a new vehicle, an agent at Eastern Insurance's customer service line incorrectly quoted my new policy. Over the phone, the agent provided me with a quote that was $900 less per year than my policy ended up actually costing me - this was due to an error in how she was reading the document. She was reading my 8 month premium as the 12 month premium, and quoted me the lower price broken up over 12 months instead of over 8 months.
This error was not caught until ~2.5 weeks after purchasing the car when they sent me my bill. I ended up switching to Geico instead because there was no way for them to honor the price that was initially quoted. It has now been 10 days since I cancelled my policy through Eastern Insurance (Arbella as the provider), and I have received not a single email confirming when my refund will be sent to me.
