Auto insurance protects you against financial loss in the event of an accident. It is essentially, a contract between you and the insurance company. You agree to pay the premium and the insurance company agrees to pay your losses in the event of an accident as outlined in your policy. Liability: Covers your legal responsibility to others in the event of bodily injury or property damage.
While your landlord's insurance policy covers the building, it won't cover the loss of your personal belongings in the event of theft, water or fire damage. Renters insurance is a very affordable way to cover yourself for a variety of unexpected events.
Homeowners insurance covers both damage to your property and your liability or legal responsibility for any injuries and property damage you or members of your family cause to other people. This includes damage caused by household pets. Damage caused by most disasters is also covered however, there are some exceptions.
Flood is an excluded peril on the Homeowners Policy and the coverage can only be purchased on a separate policy. The Federal Government writes the bulk of the policies through FEMA. We have been a registered agent with the National Flood Program since 1991. Both the Government and Private Programs are constantly changing and we can provide the expertise to make sure you are getting the most coverage possible at the best price. Little known fact is that 75% of all flood claims happen to properties not considered to be in high risk flood zones.

There is not a more inept company you could possibly choose. Worst year of customer service of my life through car and also home insurance. I can't even imagine how difficult it would've been if i had to actually file a claim. No call backs, plenty of excuses, incorrect paperwork, lies!- had to have a check returned from my bank, with a fee, because Sean couldn't take one minute to look something up.

Their lack of attention is on another level of horrendous. Even trying to end it with them, i'm still here a month later having to deal with them because now i need a reimbursement check because my mortgage company says i have TWO insurance policies! I LEFT THEM! Customer service is non existent with these people.

I am a trustee in a condo association and when the master policy came up for renewal the premium seemed quite high. I called Dooley insurance and they were able to offer better coverage with a more reputable carrier for considerably less money. I then had them look at the policy for my home and again was able to get better coverage with a better insurer and saved over $1500 a year. Needless to say I switched to working with Dooley Insurance and they made the switch over simple and painless. I'd highly recommend them.

I do not use Dooley personally but I work in Auto Sales and work with tons of Insurance Companies. My customer's need to update insurance binders and it is my job to make sure this is done before they leave the building. I print out all of the information and give it to the customer while they are here at my desk, then continue getting their vehicle ready for them.

My customer called Dooley to update his information. I came back for something and he handed me the phone "He wants to talk to you. his name is Sean." When stated my name, he just started talking about forms, I was confused and asked if he was telling me something or asking me something. "Well aren't they a MA resident?" Which they are not. After a brief period on hold, he asked me how I wanted to receive the binder, fax or email?

I answered and also asked to confirm he had the correct address for the lien holder, "Why would I have that?!" I am getting more confused as to why he's frustrated. Explained to him I have no idea how much information he received from the customer prior to me being handed the phone. He took the lien holder information and said I'd have the info shortly.

I received a voicemail from him, returned the call and he was obviously upset that "I don't even have the year make model or VIN." Told him that was why i was returning his call (as he stated the same on the voicemail). He let me know "In the future you should have called hours ago, it's Friday afternoon and we're trying to get out of here (it was 3:40pm, one set of hours on their site say they're there until 5pm).

You should have called at least a couple of hours ago!" This turned into a battle because we are BOTH in Customer Service of sorts, this is now OUR customer, why is he mad? Because he wants to get out of work "now"? I reminded him it's 4pm here too and I called him as soon as I knew they were going to buy the car. How can I POSSIBLY call him prior to them even coming in to look at a car?

I told him I've never been asked to send a fax and will "send it now". his response? "Oh you're going to send it AFTER the fact?" What on holy earth is his problem? Told him the customer originally had every piece of information he needed, if he wanted a fax all he had to was ask. That when the customer handed me the phone, he, Sean, never told me what he needed for info. "Well I asked for you because I thought the were registered in MA." So, I pointed out the fact had HE looked at HIS records as I SEE on their Insurance CARD they are registered in NH and he would have simply had everything he needed. I refer to customers to insurance companies from MA to ME to NH. sad this is the first I can say I would NEVER refer someone to work with.

Having businesses and residences in MA, my family has used Dooley insurance for nearly ten years now and we continue to renew annually. I feel I get the comfort of a large well established agency yet the one on one customer care of a family owned business. As my own business needs for insurance become more complicated I continue to move more and more of my insurance requirements over to Dooley because of the consistent service and their ability to give me the best advice for coverage options which clearly explain the 'what if ' scenario.

I feel like they are always on my side whenever a claim arises. They must have hundreds if not thousands of clients to deal with yet I always feel like I'm put to the top of the list. Thanks Sean, Jay, and the Dooley insurance team for the great service. Sign me us up again for our renewal!

(score 1-100) - 85. I have many cars insured through Dooley Insurance. I've known them since I was a kid and have great trust in the value and product. I insure my house and many cars over the years. They are locally owned and offer a personal touch and always available. I've used them as a bonding agent for my business and have always been professional and diligent in getting my needs done.

I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to insure their house or car. They are located up on the second floor of 2 Central St and are in the downtown area of Ipswich.
