The story begins in 1972 when George Purves took his first insurance Agency job at Brinley's Real Estate and Insurance in Davis, CA. It was common at the time for the real estate and insurance business to be combined, but Mr. Brinley's primary focus was on the real estate side. Mr. Brinley was a Davis institution, known for his generosity and integrity, and he mentored George in the business.
We have specialized in working with home buyers since we became Lyon Real Estate's official Insurance Partner in 2001. Since then we have helped thousands of buyers, including many first-time buyers, with the process of insuring their home. We understand that the home buying process can be stressful so we keep it simple.
I was born and raised in Placer county, living primarily in the Roseville area most of my life. I began my insurance career in 1997. Starting out in reception and moving up to account manager, sales, management and finally ending with an ownership interest in the same agency I worked so many years with.
You worked very hard to buy a home, let us help you protect it with the right amount of coverage. As costs to build homes continue to rise, so do the costs of re-building after a fire, water or other damage. Purves & Associates Insurance Agency has been a valuable partner with Preparative Consulting for many years. Maria Fuoco has been amazing to work with! I run a nonprofit and was having trouble answering a lot of the required questions to get insured as my business does not fit easily into a box. I own a consulting business and work mostly with Cities and Counties.
