I discovered Shepard Insurance about 5 years ago, while shopping around for competitive auto insurance policies. Not only were their prices enticing enough to encourage me to sign on with them, but their customer service has been what has kept me a loyal customer for five years. Since that auto policy, I've since purchased a home, and started a new business, both of which are also covered by Shepard.
Thank You for taking such great care of our family. You not only saved us several hundred dollars over our previous insurance carrier but also made sure all of our insurance needs were well taken care of. When our niece needed automobile insurance at the last minute to purchase a new car, not only did you take the time to patiently educate her about insurance but you also waited over 2 hours after your normal business hours on a Friday night to make sure that she was able to take her new car home that day.
Obviously I have been pleased with Shepard Insurance Agency since when I needed to get insurance for all of my daughter's needs I chose Shepard over the other closer agencies. Service and attentiveness are key considerations in this type of relationship. I want to thank your agency, and especially you for your professionalism.
I just wanted to express, how very pleased I have been with all of you and your company throughout the years. All of your services provided to me were done very timely and professional. If I had any questions at all, one of you got back to me immediately. The customer service has been exquisite and I want to thank, every one of you, for your wonderful care.

Called my agent of record, Scott Shepard, two times to inquire about a discrepancy on my policy. He never returned my calls. I then received a call from Brice. I do not know if he is an office assistant, or a fellow agent. Nevertheless, Brice proceeded to request some additional document in order for the insurance company to consider my discount. Having absolutely no confidence in what Brice was telling me, I decided to call the insurance company Home Office directly.
The billing department listened to my grievance. She proceeded to put me on a short hold. She called the underwriter. The underwriter said that I need not have to send any documents and they will honor my discount. The underwriter said they will step in and notify the agent. I then got an email from Brice, acknowledging receipt of the underwriter's approval and said he'll make the change.
This event left a sour taste in my mouth. First of all, my agent of record, who is suppose to service my account, NEVER returned my 2 phone calls. That is a huge red flag. What am I paying him for? Consequently, I decided to cancel my Homeowners policy, my two cars policy, and my EQ policy. I remain with the insurance company because this event was solely caused by my agent.
The insurance company was appalled that this happen. Due to my agent's indifference, I took my business to another agency, who was more than happy to receive my business and service my accounts. If I have to get involved, to handle my insurance business, then why have an agent. I am now happy!
