After moving to Gallatin with TVA in 1953 and several years of teaching and coaching at Gallatin High School and Guild Middle School, Carl Wells became a licensed insurance agent in 1960. In 1968, Mr. Wells joined the independent insurance agency of Joslin and Son. Mr. Clay Joslin started the agency in the early 1950's with his son, Jerrell, and it became one of the premier agencies in Gallatin. In 1976, Carl Wells became the sole owner of the agency and renamed the business Carl R. Wells and Associates.
I guess that you can tell by our actions what we think of Carl Wells and Associates. They write the insurance on two (2) cars, one (1) motor home, our house, and before we sold it, our boat. He treats us right and he is quick to react to any problem we have. It is not worth it to save a few bucks to change to another agency.
To put it simply, personal insurance includes coverage plans for everything that revolves around you. Your home, your car, your health, and everything in between. Personal insurance is broken up into five categories that all have plans, policies, and coverages you can count on. Take the time to go over various plans with your agent so that no matter what life throws at you, you and your loved ones are prepared. In life, there are good and bad days. And while we hope that the "good" outweighs the "bad, " that is not always the case.

I've done business here for years. Kara is outstanding, as is the rest of the staff. I've never enjoyed any insurance based transactions. This is just an excellent company to do business with. They have always worked with me to help me in getting great and fair rates. I won't purchase insurance elsewhere.
