Prior to this review, I have never given any company a negative online review in over 18 years of business. In short, we have had a Humana corporate employee health insurance plan purchased through Georgia Health Coverage for over 6 years and have paid over $160,000 in premiums during that time frame, primarily for just 3 employees. In this instance, I am so disappointed with the completely inaccurate information and lack of any real assistance provided by the agent or Humana that I have cancelled our plan and am compelled to write this review.
The agents never call us or offer any helpful information and we don't hear from them until a day or two before it is time to renew every year. They never provide any useful advise or recommendations or even accurate information about upcoming changes in premiums or levels of coverage. They take you for granted and receive whatever their commission is for selling the plan and cant find the time to even talk to you when you need assistance with a claim.
Then instead of a followup of any kind they mail you a $5 Starbucks card as if that compensates for their poor service. My advice to any employer needing assistance with selecting a health insurance plan is to keep looking, or you will likely be disappointed as well.
