Old Orland Insurance Inc., is a locally owned independent insurance agency and brokerage that was formed in 1946 by John Murphy on Chicago's Southwest side after his return from his tour of duty in the service. Mr. Murphy built an agency with the help of his wife Irene that was there for all of the residents and businesses that were moving to the area.
Mr. Murphy was a vital part of the Orland Community serving on the planning board for over 25 years, helping to shape Orland for the future. Today the Agency is run by Martin Murphy, and the agencies goal is still the same today, to design and provide insurance programs that are broad in concept and scope, underwritten by insurance companies of unquestionable financial stability, for premiums that are competitive and economical, while providing our clients with quality service and expertise.

Most of us believe we are safe drivers. But you can be involved in a traffic accident whether it is a minor fender bender or a serious accident. Obtains the names, addresses and telephone numbers of any injured persons, the owners of any damaged property and witnesses. If another vehicle is involved in the accident, obtain the names, addresses and telephone numbers of the driver and owner of the vehicle. Also obtain the make, model, license number and insurance company of the vehicle(s). Do not accept fault for the accident.
