Lovins Insurance was founded in 1966 by Charles Edward Lovins (known to family and friends as Ed). The agency was originally called Tri-County Insurance, but eventually changed its name to C. Edward Lovins Insurance Agency Inc. After 30 years of success, Ed decided to slow down and pass the torch on to Mark Brokamp and Bob Moorehead, who became the new owners in 1996.
When pricing insurance, what works for one person or business may not work for another. Because there are so many factors to get a final price once company may result in a significant savings for one person but double the cost for the next. That's why as an independent agent, we represent multiple insurance companies to find the best fit for each client.

Each time your policy renews, your Account Manager gets notified by any increase $100 or more.

Over many years of coverage I had to submit just 1 claim. Lovins Insurance Agency handled it in an extremely satisfying manner. I also appreciated the fact that my annual premiums increased very little. Additionally, each time I spoke with a rep they were pleasant and seemed to really care. All in all a very fine company to do business with.

This is by far the best customer service I have ever had with an insurance company. My agent Alicia was the best, she found the lowest rate for auto and renters insurance for me. She gets back to you very quickly and is very professional! When I busted my windshield she found the cheapest place for me to get it repaired! I would highly recommend!
