Buying insurance is like buying a product you hope you will never need. It is complex, data intensive and time consuming, not to mention - expensive. Sounds fun, right? I have come to believe that is why so many insurance company advertisements dumb it down to the point that I'm not really sure what they're selling. I believe that many insurance carriers think that excellence is providing the latest smartphone App cooked up by the corporate IT department.
The one that requires registration, login and displays in the smallest possible format on your phone. Try seeing that puppy when you're stuck on the side of the road in glaring sunlight with marginal cell service. I want an insurance company with a good, solid rating. Of equal importance, I want an agency that will unfailingly provide three things: Service. Service. Service.
We have found such a firm in Schweickert & Company, and particularly our personal representative, Travis Garrison. Over the three years we have been with Schweickert, we have been completely satisfied and sometimes amazed at the level of service Travis has provided. For example, he was able to secure a standard homeowner's policy for our vacation cabin in a mountainous area, when all the local agents were quoting high priced specialty policies from Lloyd's or out of state "Surplus Lines" carriers.
We saved a lot of money and got a good policy. An App can't do that. Or, when my wife was recently stuck in another city with a question about rental car coverage. Travis was there, a live voice on the phone to help her. An App can't do that. I had a complex billing question that involved the carrier and my bank. Travis researched it and provided the answer. An App can't do that.
We trust Schweickert & Company with all of our insurance needs including homeowner's, condo, auto and umbrella liability. Do yourself a favor and see if they fit your needs. These folks are insurance agents for Mercury Insurance. They are truly the best insurance team I have dealed with. Dianne handles my account and she is awesome. I use them for both my car and renters insurance. I have been using them since 2005 and I do not have a single complaint. They are always extremely friendly and proactive in giving me the best coverage for my buck.
Also when I had damage done to my car from a shopping cart they were extremely helpful and the processing of the damage claim was extremely fast. If you are looking for a cheap car insurance with excellent services, these are your folks.
