We have had flood insurance through them for over 10 years. When we sold the home we tried to transfer the policy to the new owners. They told us it was "transferable" but they would not do it for us since we only had one policy with them. We called Hartford and they said that Snellings could call them and they would get it transferred. Snelling said that was against their policy too! They were totally uncooperative and basically said "This is not worth our time."

After leaving a message (about two weeks before my policy was set to expire) to review my policy and potentially add some business, Pam Lamb was unable to return my phone call. I don't believe in trying to run people down to give them money- especially since I had been handed off from who I originated the business with since I wasn't a premium client- so I went with another insurer and got the coverage I needed for about half the price.
I had been with them for 4 or so years. It was only after I unsubscribed from their useless emails that I actually got a call- which was a week after my policy had lapsed with them. So, the one thing they are supposed to be good at- service- they can't deliver. Use someone else.
