We had a catastrophic event when a pipe froze and flooded our recently purchased home. We had not even moved in yet. Once we filed a claim we never got a phone call asking how we were, or if we needed anything. Phone calls were not returned. It took 9 months before our home was reconstructed and during all that time our agent never contacted us to see how we were doing. Needless to say as soon as the claim was settled we changed agents. Poorest customer service we ever experienced from any business. Find someone else.

The landlord really tries to take advantage of students who choose their housing. Unbeknownst to the landlord, I have a security camera so I was able to catch him in his lie when he claimed he was giving a tour of my place and my dog had "pooped everywhere". 1. He was never there. 2. My dog didn't poop anywhere in the house. Not to mention they tried to bill me to unclog the COMMUNAL shower for the house, saying I washed my dog in there and it clogged the drain.
However the invoice for the people to come unclog it was a mere two days after I moved in. They think everyone in Ann Arbor is wealthy and try to make them pay for improvements they should be doing inherently.

I decided to go with Aprill Agency since they were across the street and were an agency for my existing insurance provider. After several attempts to email the representative I was paired with, it was clear that electronic communication was not working well. I might try another individual here before giving up, but it was frustrating and I haven't received the service I need yet.
