Great for the insurance carriers, horrible for the homeowners. Their representative once told me that we didn't need to put a flashing kit on a skylight, which is specifically made for that skylight. He said a good roofer knows how to make their own flashing kit. Amazing how people with little to no roofing knowledge are out there adjusting roofing claims.
