Established in 1970, Allied National is one of the nation's oldest and most experienced third-party administrators (TPA). We offer an array of services to agents, covered members and risk-bearing partners. We also have an extensive portfolio of easy-to-sell and maintain products; product marketing services; and complete agent support.
1976 - Ray Fushimi joined the Ashleys as a partner at Allied in 1976, retired from Allied in 2019 and has transitioned to selling Medicare supplement plans. 1984 - Allied moved into a beautiful historic building at 911 Broadway in the heart of downtown Kansas City, Missouri's, Garment District and stayed there 24 years.

If your health plan covers prescription drugs, the information on your health plan ID card is the first place to check for information. A Prescription Benefit Manager (PBM) provides you access at your local pharmacies and manages the benefits you receive. If you need help, you can always call the number on your ID card for immediate assistance.

This placed really screwed me over. They unexpectedly charged my account $371 a week before Christmas and caused my account to be overdrawn. I had told my sales rep that the policy was not going to work for me due to having a 8,000.00 deductible. She tried to persuade me otherwise, and even though she ended up referring me to someone else, did not cancel my policy.

She had clearly told me that the policy wasn't supposed to be active until February 2022 and I would not be charged until that time anyway. It took me sending an email and calling 5 times to finally get a refund. Yes, you read it correctly, 5 times! They did not reimburse me for the 25.00 overdraft fee. Buyer beware!

Allied National is the best Third Party Administrator of Group Health Plans in South Georgia. Very affordable rates for groups. Love all the employees at Allied National. A great team that works hard to help their members and agents. I definitely appreciate EVERYONE at Allied National.

Hello, My wife and I would like to thank Jill Carroll for her help in resolving an issue that we had with our insurance provider. Jill was very helpful in directing us to the proper contacts which ultimately allowed us to resolve the issue. Had she not been there for us, our insurance coverage would have been cancelled, and we would be facing tremendous hospital bills that would have otherwise been covered. They lost our premium more than once and made us jump through hoops each time by not being consistent with notifications. They also have a claim fund which is supposed to be extra money we get back if not used for claims. Well, in our case, it was not used for claims, but they are refusing to send us our money as promised. They are finding every way possible to screw us over. Do not trust this company with your money.

I strongly recommend not working with this company. They claim to negotiate pricing with healthcare providers. This sounds nice in theory but goes poorly in practice. Here's an example (and my experience): You go to the doctor. Allied National sends you an explanation of benefits with the amount you owe. Your doctor (i.e. the hospital) sends you your bill.

The numbers do not match up -- Allied says you owe less (e.g. $35), while the hospital says you owe more (e.g.$80). Allied calls this a balance billing issue. You contact them, or try to contact them because they're not very responsive. Eventually, they say they will handle it. They don't handle it. The hospital continues to pressure you for payment.

You receive final notices in the mail with threats to send your balance to collections. Now imagine this same scenario with a significant amount of money. EDIT: Thanks for responding to my review. If you responded to customer service issues as quickly as you responded to this negative review, you'd have a respectable company.

Jill Carrol is my sales/account rep. She is incredibly responsive, is always available to address questions, and moves quotes/proposals quickly. She has been a wonderful mentor/trainer who has been of great assistance to me as I learn how best to position Allied National products with my clients. Of all the Third Party Administrators I have worked with - Allied has by far the best mix of plan designs to integrate with a Direct Primary Care (DPC) solution.

The combination of DPC with a major medical plan wrap that includes Reference Based Pricing and protection against balance billing is an extremely competitive offering with the potential to change the healthcare/health insurance market. Thank you Allied National!

I work with Jill Carroll & Dan Meylan. They are two of the finest people I have ever worked with. Jill Carroll is my go to person when I need anything she will direct me. She is very honest and direct to the point. I am very focused on referenced based pricing products as an alternative to help clients get out of community rated products and save premium dollars.

While it don't work for all, it is a good alternative for those who qualify. Allied is my first choice - go to carrier for RBP group health insurance programs. You will not find a more amazing and trustworthy group of people to work with.
