Voyager ESSENTIAL: does not require primary health plan to apply; no coverage for pre-existing conditions. Testing that is not medically necessary or is required as a prerequisite for work, school or entry into country is not covered.
To qualify for a multi trip annual plan, one must actively maintain a US domestic health insurance plan such as Medicare, ACA or an individual or group medical plan; Medicaid, VA and STM plans do not qualify. Coverage must be bought for a minimum of 30 days and must show proof of quarantine mandated by a physician or governmental authority. Traveling abroad to America can be daunting.
