THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL!. I agree with the other users (with the exception of Lauren W who must be a related party). I've been using them for 5 years and there documentation and response has always been bad. But this year they have sunk to new lows. They are denying claims 1st and then the denials letters give you very vague information on why they are denied.
For some reason they seem to think they are the IRS and Blue Cross rolled into one. Asking for medical treatment plans, denials because of IRS code when the IRS publications clearly state that an item is eligible, etc. Good luck if your company decides to use them!

STAY AWAY FROM FLEX! We have had Flex handle all of our HSA and HRA activities for the last few years with little trouble. Due to the new healthcare law, we had to switch to a new health insurance and a new administrator of our benefits. Flex clearly does not take too kindly to this and as a result have held my HSA money hostage. They have taken over 45 days to transfer the money and have provided zero documentation that the transfer has actually been made. Repeated attempts to reach a solution with them have been ignored. We are now looking for ways to file a suit against them. What a disaster.

I thrive on positive feedback but this is truly the WORST company I have ever dealt with. They currently have $3000 of my hard earned money and have no incentive to pay any of it back. Every claim I have submitted has been denied. Their website lets you upload (3) docs at a time so when you have 50 claims over the course of the year, it time consuming.
This company is unethical and difficult to work with. As a result of their red tape and bad website, I am literally giving them $3000. Do not do business with Flexible Benefit Service.
