Phil is an amazing insurance agent. I came to him from another company and was paying way too much. Phil made me feel comfortable and guided me to make the right decision.

We are so glad to have been introduced to Phil Shearer. When our Insurance company left us high and dry by deciding to abandon California we were left with a short window to find a new insurance company. We also needed a new agent that was close to home. A friend recommended Phil and we were over joyed in finding him. We'd finally found an agent who was first, a great listener, and understood everything that confronted us.

He took the bull by the horns, sized up the various options in no time and went out of his way to talk with various companies then come back to us with a firm recommendation that made all the sense in the world. Then he consummated the arrangements in no time to get all the paperwork processed and not allow us to lose one day of being uninsured. We're very grateful to not only Phil, but to our friend who brought him to us.

I love the personal relationship with my Rep John. He knows exactly who I am every time I call. I love that I can call and express my thoughts and my rep actually hears me and works with me within the policies to help my needs. I work night shift, so it's hard for me to be available during days, and my rep is patient and finds solutions to reach me.

I started with First West 25 years ago after 20 Century substantially increased our auto insurance premium when we added a 16 year old male driver to our policy. I walked in off the street without an appointment. They hooked me up with Mercury insurance for auto, homeowners, and earthquake. Over the years we have changed policies due to life changes and First West efficiently handled revisions.

We recently moved and took the opportunity to are consider various insurance options. We worked with Brandy who evaluated a variety of companies and coverages.
