Meyering Insurance Agency, Inc. was founded in 1948 by John Meyering of Holland, Michigan. Mr. Meyering started our business by writing simple fire and wind insurance policies to the farmers of Ottawa and Allegan counties. After several successful years, while operating out of his own farm house, he expanded his products to include home and auto insurance.
Meyering Insurance strives to provide our clients with prompt, personalized, and professional service to set us apart from other insurance providers. You always talk to a person when calling our office. We are optimistic that all phone calls, messages, and emails, are responded to the same day. All endorsements and changes to policies are processed the same or next day to ensure accurate policy information and billing. All our policyholders are encouraged to meet annually with our professionals to review their products and coverages.
Chad graduated from Hope College in 1993 with a degree in accounting and immediately began a career in the commercial banking industry. After spending 13 years in commercial lending, he joined Meyering Insurance in 2006. He has been an agency owner here since 2012. Chad specializes in risk assessment, and services both commercial and personal lines clients.
After graduating with a Business Administration degree from Grand Valley State University, Tim started his insurance career in 1995. He has been with Meyering Insurance since 1998, and has had ownership in the agency since 2003. He specializes in commercial insurance and risk assessment. Along with servicing his clients, his duties within the office include agency insurance carrier relations, producer development, and also management of agency operations.Outside the agency he has past and present board involvement with several local not-for-profit organizations.

Horrible service from the start of our conversation on the phone. I called for a quote and he wanted my declaration instead of listening to my insurance request so he could bary me debt because he needs his big mortgage paid. After waiting five hours for a quote he told me he just coulbt fine insura for collision/comp underinsured and uninswed. That's like McDonalds not having French fries. Not only that did I mention how rude he was? A friend was listening on speaker phone and you are "very unprofessional " also Brad!
