We started from scratch in 2005 when we opened our office in Palm Coast, Florida. Fifteen years later our continued growth and expansion led to the agency's main office being located in beautiful Ponce Inlet overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and iconic lighthouse. Our first ten clients are still with us today!

Referrals and word of mouth quickly became the foundation for our success and in 2009 the demand for our services allowed us to suspend all advertising. Today, we maintain an ever expanding book of business serving discerning clients in Flagler and Volusia counties and throughout Florida.
Services
We have numerous options for insuring condos and homes through financially strong carriers at competitive rates! Start-up carriers, low-ball carriers or those teetering on financial difficulty are NOT presented as an option to our clients. There's always a carrier offering a cheaper option, but in Florida a carrier's financial strength is a huge factor when deciding which insurance company to choose. We offer coverage for primary, secondary, seasonal, and rental (nightly, short & long term) occupancies.
Whether it's your vehicle or motorcycle, the companies we represent are the leaders in providing the best there is to offer. Our unique comparative rating system provides "apples to apples" comparison quotes from the top insurance companies in the country. By comparing numerous companies at once we are able to provide our clients with the best possible premium for the coverages selected.
As boaters ourselves, the team at Kopec Insurance can assist you with insuring your boat or jet ski through a number of top watercraft insurers. Whether fishing, spending the day anchored along the intracoastal or restaurant hopping on a Sunday, you bought what you did so that you could relax and get away from it all.
The power of the ocean or a rising intracoastal waterway can be devastating. Whether it's a few inches of rising water that makes its way into your home or storm surge that leads to a total loss, water has no boundaries. Homes and condos east of the Intracoastal, along with properties located within 1,000 feet west of the Intracoastal, will generally have a stand-alone flood policy.

Brian won my business based on his responsive, friendly manner. I need to shop around for homeowner's insurance and he had an initial quote to me the same day. The entire process was positive. Thanks Brian!

Both Mr. Steve & Brian Kopec are professional in what they do. They help us to get our home, flood and car insurance smoothly. They're straight to the point.help clarify questions, no hidden agenda.now that we sold our home, they also help us cancel the policies without any issues. Strongly recommend this office.

Called for a quote for car and home insurance, but the agent said without your current insurance policy I can't do anything. How did my previous insurances do it without it? None of the reputable insurance companies asked for this when I called. Just another lazy agent, comparing prices? That the whole point of a quote, to see if your getting a good deal. Very sad to hear. Buyer beware!

Brian's office was referred to me yesterday and today I have a policy consisting of exactly what I asked for at a decent price! I'm very happy with Brian's service and look forward to many years of good neighbor service! Lol. I'm the State Farm agent, not him.but I can't write insurance for myself in Florida! Thank you Brian!

What horrid service. I'm not some first-time, one-chance customer who caught them on a bad day. They've insured four vehicles for me over FIVE YEARS because I have been too lazy to bother finding a new agent. They do such a poor job on anything you might conceivably care about: correct facts, efficient communications, accurate bills, customer service attitude, you name it.

Once they left me sitting at a car dealership while two salesmen and I sat and WAITED for them for TWO HOURS to fax a piece of paper to the dealership that they were supposed to have sent the week before! I had to keep calling over and over again, while the salesmen sighed and tried to make light of it, using my prettiest-pleasiest voice to beg them to fax it - each time they snapped back at me about the extreme annoyance of what trouble it was and they just didn't know when they were going to get to it. (Again, they had been asked to send it the week before.) At this point they are technically engaging in insurance fraud, because they continue to refuse reimbursement of insurance for a vehicle I no longer own - about which I immediately sent them notarized letters of sale. With service like this, I may as well sign up for Satan's Auto! Can't be worse, right?
