In 1989, Oakwood's founder, Bruce L. Sogn, set out to establish a business that would give him the opportunity to serve the community and to fulfill a need in the marketplace. Today as an independent insurance agency, Oakwood does just that. After researching the insurance industry, he found that by becoming an independent insurance agent, he could offer a comprehensive range of insurance products and services to his clients. Bill Gove was my agent for years prior to his illness and now Retirement. Rebecca Darlington took over some of his clients including myself and I could not be more pleased. She has been a true blessing and has been the best insurance agent I have ever had not to mention a really cool person.
