Baker Insurance Agency was founded in 1934 by Cecil J. Baker while working as a fieldman for the W.R. Roach Canning Company of Owosso, as well as running the family farm. Even with these multiple careers and commitments, Cecil grew his business out of his home to downtown Lennon, MI where his son Gerald Baker joined him.
