Part A Hospital Insurance - Most people don't pay a premium for Part A because they or a spouse already paid for it through their payroll taxes while working. Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) helps cover inpatient care in hospitals, including critical access hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities (not custodial or long-term care).
A Medicare Supplement (Medigap) insurance, sold by private companies, can help pay some of the health care costs that Original Medicare doesn't cover, like co-payments, coinsurance, and deductibles. If you have Original Medicare and you buy a Medigap policy, Medicare will pay its share of the Medicare-approved amount for covered health care costs.
Medicare Advantage Plans, sometimes called Part C, are health plan options that are part of the Medicare program. If you join one of these plans, you generally get all your Medicare-covered health care through the Medicare Advantage Plan. This coverage can include prescription drug coverage. When you join a Medicare Advantage Plan, you use the health insurance card that you get from the plan for your health care. In most of these plans, there generally are extra benefits and lower co-payments than in the Original Medicare Plan.

Becoming a new member to Medicare and not being sure if I personally would select proper coverage for myself was very scary. After reaching out to MIC and meeting with Betsy for Medical & Bonnie for Dental/Vision decisions, I couldn't be more pleased and confident of the decisions that were chosen for me. My wife and I just finished working thru our supplemental insurance renewal to Medicare with Tracy at MIC Insurance. I was so impressed with the service delivered by Bonnie. A friend had recommended her, and Bonnie delivered amazing service and responsiveness before, during and after the insurance process. The after part is what impressed me most, that Bonnie was quickly responsive with the questions I had, well after the policy was in place. The Team at MIC has been terrific since day one. Their professionalism and courteous demeanor has made a very difficult and at times confusing transition for me more bearable and more understandable. I have dealt with MIC since 2000, first with Irene and now Tracy. Their service has always been #1 top notch. It doesn't stop with issuing policy and continues with any problems you might have years later. As times change they also notify you of ways to save money and improve your life. MIC will always be there for you and I will continue to be their client. I have returned to MIC for help with Dental Insurance. During my research for individual health insurance near I where I live, MIC insurance came up. I contacted your insurance company, and I was transferred to Bonnie in a very expeditious manner. During our conversation, Bonnie explained in depth that she handles individual health insurance policies. As a single, older man with no spouse or minor children, I had numerous questions about which policies would suit my needs and budget. Bonnie was understanding and knowledgeable as to what policies I was thinking about, which policies would be best for me, and answered my questions in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend for anyone to ask for Bonnie. She was very thorough, highly personable, and professional.
