Jewell P Davenport became a licensed Agent in 1986. She graduated from Texas Lutheran University with Bachelor's degree of Business Administration with an accounting concentration. In 2004 Jewell became a Partner of the Agency, and opened the KDJ Schertz office. KDJ Insurance Agency was established in 1981 and has strong roots in its community.
KDJ Insurance Agency was formed in 1981, in Marion, Texas. At the time the population was around 800. I moved a travel trailer up to the vacant lot next to the Hitching Post, got AT&T to hook up some phones and I went on to sell insurance. The initial business I wrote was related to the banking industry, vendors single interest, for car loans and credit life for all loans. I was very fortunate to have met and developed a relationship with Emmet Donegan and Jack Taylor of Donegan Insurance in Seguin.
Our Agency's community involvement is in the Greater Marion Area Chamber of Commerce, The Chamber of Commerce (formerly known as the Schertz Chamber of Commerce), Marion Economic Development District, the Marion Education Foundation and the Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District (SCUC ISD) Education Foundation.
It is our goal to make sure our customers get the best coverage at a competitive price. Our KDJ Insurance team is happy to offer a great comprehensive line of insurance products for customers in Marion, Seguin, Cibolo, Schertz, La Vernia, Santa Clara, Guadalupe, Bexar, Comal, Wilson, Travis, and Hays County to list a few.
