My insurance policy was wrongfully cancelled. I was never notified by my insurance agent. Only found out 2 months later when the insurance carrier sent me a refund check. I immediately contacted Brevard Coastal insurance (aka Verona Insurance) and they treated the situation very casually. Took three days to get back to me after repeated attempts on my apart.
Then lazily offered me a policy for 2K when my previous policy was $900. I switched to another insurance broker and they had me in a normal policy in less then an hour at $900 again. Being left without insurance in hurricane season is not comforting.
