After attending the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Karen began her insurance career in the claim department of an insurance company in the Midwest. And so began a lifetime focus on the importance of customer satisfaction and service. In 1985 she joined O'Connor Insurance Agency founded in 1975 by her father, the late Robert O'Connor, and gained a broad base of experience in Personal, Business, Life and Health Insurance, marketing, production, and management.In 2005 following the death of her father, Karen assumed helm of the company as President and more recently in 2020 as sole owner.

The O'Connor Insurance Agency has been taking care of all our insurance needs for more than 20 years! Actually left and came back. Left because someone low balled them with out me realizing it. After not hearing from my agent after he got my business I went back to oconner insurance. Stephen Lischetti is my agent and he has always checked in and kept my best interest 1st. Helped me realize shortfalls in my homeowners coverage. I now moved all my insurance polices back to oconner insurance. I highly recommend Stephen, he is a guy who cares.

I am 70 years old and have never been involved with an insurance that provided worse service. My calls were never returned. I finally allowed my policy to lapse and moved to a new agency with the same insurance company. O Connor was alerted to this. I even spoke with Ms O Connor. Still, I continued be billed and the bills now indicate "past due". Obviously a disorganized agency lacking in customer service
