Pls can someone tell me who I can report this insurance to? Please all of you commenting on this company are so very right about this company, and I wish I can give negative-100 to this review. We need to tell the government to close this insurance company down, they are fraud, rude, deceitful. Had I know or have someone told me about this insurance I would have look for a better opinions rather than this unprofessional, breakdown, mold and termite of an insurance company if I have another words to use for this bad insurance of a company I would use it.
Please I beg you not to use this insurance if you value your car or your life. They ll refused to pay you your money. and refused to pick up your call, even disconnect your call while calling them. Take note of this insurance company.

If I was able to give a 0 star, I would. This company is a joke. Cynthia Martinez is a joke! My accident was on February 28th and did the claim the next day. Took weeks for them to decide to even move forward with repairs. Didn't even want to cover the full damages on my vehicle due to "we don't know if it was even damaged due to this accident" because apparently I didn't save the damaged parts. Cynthia had to argue with me and would rudely tell me "I don't have time for this or you" and hang up.
As of May 2nd, I have not received the final check. I had to pay out of pocket. Sadly I was not aware thru my agent that I was getting renewed with a company like this one. You get what you pay for. Safe your money and go for something worth it and that won't give you headaches like this company did to me. 63+ days and yet haven't received my money.
They are quick to charge you late fees and everything. Wish I can reverse the same fees to them! They promised to pay storage and like their lack of everything. Even that promise they broke. Do not trust them unless it's written on paper. Have them write everything down before moving forward with anything.

Slowest company ever. Still waiting on a claim that was the fault of their client and its been 4 months. I call every couple weeks and get the same runaround that it is being reviewed and to be patient. They don't respond to emails or voice mails. I have to wait on hold for a while before anyone will answer. Maybe if they had someone regularly updating people you would have to call.

People please stay away from this Insurance Company. NEVER BUY COVERAGE EVEN ITS CHEAP! Everything in the reviews its totally true. ITS A TOTAL SCAM. My car was involved in the car accident on the 1.4.22 and I see they playing their games as other reviewers described. Lady from American Freedom just laugh off on the phone when I ask her is this insurance works exactly as the google reviews.
I hope it will come to them when they will be involved in car accident and they will not get a DIME for it. Its Horrible how this business still exist. Just an update. Its April and No coverage provided from the insurance. They said I will receive some letter and never did. They steel people money and dont provide the coverage at all!

Steer clear of this company. I have been attempting to get a claim resolved since December of last year. They are willing to accept insurance premiums, yet unwilling to approve and pay a legitimate claim. I am attempting to seek redress through the courts. I believe a lawsuit, ultimately seeking class action status is the only appropriate avenue for dealing with this company. They should not be allowed to continue defrauding consumers.

The WORST insurance company I've dealt with. Save your money and go elsewhere! Unprofessional customer service, they take forever to give you a proper answer it's always "it's under review" or "I've let my supervisor know and they will give you a call". I have yet to hear from them from an accident that happened 1/23!

After 40 years in the auto body industry this is by far the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with! After filing a claim after one of their insured hit me they have put us off saying the claim was under review while asking for multiple revisions by our body shop and now after 3 months they have denied our claim when it was 100% their insureds fault and she even admitted it.
This insurance is only for those who can't afford insurance or are uninsurable. Pray one of their insured does not hit you because you will be out of luck. I can't express how horrible they are from customer service on.

I wish I could give this 0 stars. I was in an accident with one of their clients August of 2019, I had injuries and had to receive medical treatment. All medical was done by Dec 2019. I sent them my bills and signed saying I no longer needed treatment. After 2 years I got bills from my medical treatment places. They all stated American Freedom never paid them.
After attempting to contact them for months I finally got ahold of someone who stated its passed the statue of limitations and there was nothing further they could do and the bills were now my responsibility. They said they never received my my bills, which is a lie because I have all the emails, when asked to forward those emails. I stayed on the phone with the adjuster to make sure he got them so he could see and he responded "oh I don't have access to the emails, someone will call you back saying they received them" NO ONE HAS YET TO CALL ME BACK.
Now I have to spend my money on a lawyer to get my bills paid. If you ever get into an accident with someone who has this insurance just.go through your insurance. This place needs to be shut down.

If I could give a negative star - I would. We experienced a loss 09/23/21, which remains unresolved as of the date of this review. Our credit has been negatively impacted as this company/adjuster has not made any contact with the finance company. Please run, do not do business with this company. I would not wish this experience on anyone. If you're going through a 3rd party and they are assigned as your carrier - keep looking. I will be filing a formal complaint with the BBB.

This is probably one of the worst and I mean this wholeheartedly with utmost conviction. This insurance company is a fraud, unprofessional, and are liars I couldn't believe my ears when conversing with the agents/supervisors. I could say that the agents are very deplorable, it's like everything is out of their control, they have the same lines everything is either under review, or the adjuster is looking over it, or they will put a rush on it.(they never do) I'm being very pragmatic in this review this is not me bashing the company due to personal feelings I'm being as honest as I can be.
I had filed a claim in march 2021. It is January 5th 2022 and you wouldn't believe the status of my claim. Yeah you guessed it "under review" "ill put a rush on it" they tried denying my claim plenty of times however I was prepared for their shady tactics I kept every invoice, every proof of payment, and even videos of my vehicle to show it was operable.
Yet still, no progress has been made. The supervisor. Let's just say you would have better luck getting assistance from a wall. She was very rude, unprofessional and I even heard her mumbling slick remarks under her breath where is the professionalism? This company doesn't care about their customers and it is blatantly expressed throughout the other reviews.
There is no rectifying this. This company just needs new management, a CEO who will actually care about the customers and not just rip them off. I have never felt so disrespected in my life until I signed this insurance quote. PLEASE STAY AWAY
