We specialize in helping ensure your loved ones remain financially sound in the event of a loss. This proactive planning is one of the most selfless gifts you can leave your heirs. The worry of how to pay for funeral and burial costs, everyday bills and addressing the debt left behind can be eased with proper planning.

Life insurance may be one of the most important purchases you'll ever make. In the event of a tragedy, life insurance proceeds can help pay your bills, continue a family business, pay for future needs like your children's education, protect your spouse's retirement plans, and much more. How much money will my family need after my death to meet immediate expenses, like funeral expenses and debts?.
One of the biggest financial mistakes people make is failure to set aside money for retirement. This is especially true of younger people for whom retirement seems a long way away. Retirement planning begins with setting goals and putting together a plan to achieve them. If you haven't made retirement planning a priority, make it one now.
A whole life or term life policy is a valuable tool to help you protect your family from the unexpected. Your most important asset is not your home, your car, your jewelry or other possessions. It's your ability to earn a living. All of your plans for the future are based on the assumption that you will continue to earn a paycheck until you retire.

Dealing with the lost of a parent is something I wasn't ready to deal with ever. My mother always made sure no matter she had her affairs in order and The Baltimore Life team has made this experience less stressful than I've imagined. Casandra Thomas has been helpful in so many ways guiding me on what's needed and always responding quickly to any emails I sent her way.
I just want to say thank you and I appreciate you also Wanda Smith has been very helpful in getting me the documents needed and answering questions I had. Baltimore Life Companies I just want to say THANKS

I've been trying to cancel a policey we can not afford, ,t hey, Baltimore' Life has been dragging their feet for monthes, they were supposed to mail me a change of ownership and surrender form I've never received 4 monthes later, still haven't gotten, then asked them to email forms to me they only emailed change form, not other, this is a real scam, they expect us to know what to do, like our mother dies everyday, very unhelpful, seems like they are trying to steal our policey my mother has been paying since 1982,,

Its great the only thing I regret is I 61 when I purchased the insurance and everything was great $34 a month for $10,000 of life insurance now I'm 64 I wanted to raise it and I can't raise it I have to buy another policy at my age it is $59 so that is double for the same amount of insurance and I might as well get term life insurance for the second policy

Critical: Professionalism Today, 2/3/2021, I spoke with 5 representatives. David, Jan, Marg, and I did not write the other names. They are the most rudeness representatives I have ever came across. I will speak with cooperate office and if they do not change with attitudes, I'm going. I've been with them for 30 plus years.

I've worked for Baltimore Life for 6 months. And having been in the insurance industry for 15 years. I can say that Baltimore Life is a great company to work for. They care very much for their employees and provides great training to make sure agents are successful. And is always there to help with any issues or concerns. Wayana Racz

We had no problems with this company until we tried to close our insurance account with them. We paid our bill every month never needed anything from them so everything seemed just fine. We tried closing the account in October of 2019 when a month later we still didn't have any correspondence about the closure we called. When we called, a woman (we have never spoken to our actual agent?!) sent the paperwork, we filled it out sent it back.
It took them another month to tell us that it was filled out wrong. The whole time they're still sending us bills knowing that we're trying to close out our policy. It is now the end of January 2020 still trying to close out this policy, and I just received in the mail a notification of our policy lapsing due to lack of payment. I am now fully convinced that it is part of the training of this company that everyone only operate using their feet, as their thumbs are shoved so far up their behinds they are incapable of operating at even sub-standard levels of customer service.

I've worked for Baltimore Life for 13 years and it's a very family oriented company. I've learned much about marketing, branding and helping families build strong insurance and financial programs. Good company to work for with many branches and opportunity for growth. Agents are paid to train and have access to full benefits, 401K and so much more.

I agree with Carla H's complaint. These are the most unethical non compassionate people I have ever dealt with in business. I would not get life insurance from them if it were free. I wouldn't want my family to suffer trying to get the pay out after my death. My mother worked hard and paid her premium faithfully, so that her family wouldn't be burdened by her death.
She is probably turning in her grave to know that these people are being spiteful and not releasing the pay out because they were too incompetent to make a decision on who would receive the pay out. They bought out a company that made the mistake and wouldn't take responsibility for it. I contacted the MD insurance administration and they got upset.
Now they're being spiteful and not releasing the payment. They may not understand "you reap what you so" holding the payout because they're wrong. Be ware if your'e reading this this seems to be a pattern. Rotten lairs is what they are. To try and hold back after my mother paid her dues. I don't know how they sleep at night.

I was a temporary employee with this company and it was the most uncomfortable experience for me. They will try to bring you down and run the operations like a plantation. There is no communication with management; that was the first red flag. There was a manager Cindy Smith who loves to push her own work on other employees, very unprofessional. However, there was a Vice President, who left the company wish they stayed because that company would have made it really further. This company needs a lot of employee training with Management.

My mother passed away in early December. I notified Baltimore Life and there was no compassion. My mother didn't have a lot but she took good care of her affairs and I wanted to continue to do that on her behalf. There was no compassion and as of the date of this review, the family is still awaiting the claim. Everytime they are called, you get a different response.
It took two weeks for them to mail out the application to even file a claim in the first place. In this day of technology, one would think that atleast the process would not be so painful. They stated they received the documents back on the 14 of January. This is the 30th. Still waiting. Very disappointed.
