Pleasant and customer care service was great. Overall service was good.

Dwight and his team our 100% a 5 star insurance company. What we absolutely love, is when you call they answer the phone. Any questions you may have, they're on it. We have referred may of our family and friends.

I am not sure why I was treated so badly. I was left with a $2000 bill, a destroyed deck not replaced, and major smoke damage to deal with on my own after a fire because my agent did not give me the full home insurance coverage that I asked for. When I asked why I did not get what I asked for, my agent said "I don't know". I trusted that my agent was getting me the best price on auto insurance because he said he was always looking.

After 15 years of paying the best rate he could get me, I found insurance with a company that Akin and Akin deals with and am saving $250 a month. My calculation tells me that Akin and Akin has over charged me $45,000 for car insurance. I still don't have a deck.

I've been with Akin-Akin since the 80's. I love the personal service I get, AND the best rates. I've had many calls over the years from insurance companies promising to SAVE ME MONEY, the quote is always higher.

Akin-Akin is easy to deal with and pleasant, as well. Their customer service is prompt and efficient. When I initially set up our auto, home, RV and liability policies, I felt confident that I'd secured the proper coverages and I was pleased with the rates versus my previous insurer.

I have been with Akin-Akin since 1968 and have enjoyed working with the various people within the agency. At one point they changed me to Auto Owners stating that Citizens Insurance wasn't as good with older adults. The change has been good. The claims I have had, Sam has been very prompt in turning in the claims. I would highly recommend this insurance agency for their knowledge and personal relationships they have with their clients.

I have been a customer with Akin and Akin for several years. They provide excellent customer service and focus on the best interests of their customers. I recently bought a new home and needed an insurance policy for my closing; which was within several days. Mr. Akin went out of his way to meet the deadline and provide me with the best policy. He also informed me that my car insurance rates would be decreasing due to my new location, and that I would qualify for a multi-policy discount.

Shortly after I moved, I received a refund check due to the changes. Although I have moved to Northern Michigan, I will continue to do business with this company; as they provide a quality product along with excellent customer service. Thanks again!

Everything has always been very easy and quick to handle. I have also been very pleased with the customer service provided. And of course, one of the best things is that I was able to get a really great deal. Haven't found another company that can provide such great service with such great prices!

After moving back to this area in 2009 we were referred to Akin-Akin by our realtor. Sam Hamilton, our insurance representative, was so helpful and accommodating from Day One that we feel very lucky to have found him. We insure our vehicles and house with Akin-Akin and our rates are better than most of our friends, plus the office staff is always pleasant and helpful.

In fact, we have referred several family and friends to this agency and they, too, are pleased with the prices and service. Excellent service and peace of mind are important and you do get that with this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I have worked with a TON of insurance companies being in the car business for 10 years++. I have NEVER EVER had an insurance agent who is trying to grow a business hang up on me. I had everything he needed to provide a quote and had a huge attitude calling me "buddy" and "dude" it was so unprofessional I couldn't believe it. DO NOT SEEK INSURANCE FROM THIS BUSINESS. This guy was unbelievably rude and not helpful at all. Will most likely be out of business before anyone knows who they are.
