I'm a 3rd party seller on Amazon. More than a year ago, I bought Amazon account suspension insurance from another broker. Some time later, James Allen acquired my policy. I received no notification that my policy changed hands. As it was getting time to renew the policy, I received no prompting or reminder to renew. If James Allen wasn't going to renew those kind of policies, I received no notification of that either.
Just complete silence. A few months ago, my worst case scenario occurred and my account was indeed unjustly suspended. I immediately went to contact my insurance agency only to find it was now James Allen and they quietly let me policy expire. What a nightmare. I look for dependable partners in insurance brokers. I thought I had a safety net in place but James Allen quietly removed it. I can't imagine a way to erode trust quicker than what occurred to me.
