Take it, or leave it. That's what you get with single-provider insurance companies (called "captive agents") like GEICO, Farmers, Allstate or State Farm. Their "one-size-fits-all" policy might work for some, but does it work for you? Besides, who want's to be held "captive"? Wouldn't you rather have options for auto, homeowners, umbrella, life, business (even travel, wedding and pet insurance)?
That's exactly what you get with Connecticut Insurance Exchange. We're an independent insurance agency, representing MANY A+ rated companies, so you're not limited to one company.

Our friendly, knowledgeable, fully licensed agents take time to know you and your insurance needs. When it makes sense to change a policy, only the insurance company changes - not the relationship you have with your Connecticut Insurance Exchange agent. And, when you have an insurance claim, you can count on your Connecticut Insurance Exchange team to see it through to its completion.
Do you have too little or too much insurance? You can suffer a financial catastrophe if the limits on your policy are not enough to fully cover you in the event of a loss. On the other hand, who wants to pay extra if your limits are set too high? So, how are you supposed to know what's the right amount?
Why is an umbrella policy so important? If your auto or homeowner's liability coverage isn't enough to pay for the damages of an accident in your vehicle or on your property - and you are held liable - you could potentially owe hundreds of thousands of dollars. EXAMPLE: If you're at fault in a car accident that injures another driver, your regular automobile insurance will cover the other driver up to the limit you selected, say $300,000. But what happens if that limit is not enough to cover the other driver's needs?

One of the best things I did this year was give them a call. I'm paying half for car insurance from my previous rate, a third for my umbrella policy and 100 dollars less a year for homeowners insurance for better coverage. Overall I'm saying 1400 a year. I usually dont think about things like insurance so I'll look at it like this. that's 14,000 savings in 10 years!
