The agency was started in 1984 by Bruce Tanner from Madison NY, who specialized in farm insurance. Keith Peavey also from Madison NY joined Bruce in 1990, after receiving both his property casualty and life licenses.Tanner Insurance Agency, Inc. opened a main street office on Route 20 in Madison in the spring of 1995 and saw tremendous growth in all lines of insurance.

Neil Collins did excellent work for us. He is knowledgeable and detailed oriented and answered all our questions so we were confident in what we received for coverage. Lexus Morris was prompt in responding to our changes on the forms and getting them back to us. I highly recommend this agency and their people. We switched to them because the best people from our last insurer retired and we were not getting the service we were used to. Tanner exactly filled the void.

Beautiful ladies at the Oneida office!
